Forum: TABOR’s impact on the lives of Mainers

If you care about making decisions at the local level, if you’re concerned the quality of your children’s education, if you want adequate public safety, if you think that power should not be in the hands of the few, or if you think that the elderly and children deserve health care, then you should know more about the so-called Taxpayers Bill of Rights.

Sarah Staniford, Executive Director of the Maine Women’s Policy Center and Bobby Reynolds, head of the Maine Professional Firefighters Union, are both working on the NO TABOR Campaign and will be discussing the various parts of TABOR that will have an impact on the lives of Mainers.
