Keynote Speaker:

Dr. Sandra Steingraber is an internationally-renowned activist and expert on the links between cancer and reproductive health. She is the author of the highly acclaimed Living Downstream: An Ecologist Looks at Cancer and the Environment (Addison-Welsely, 1997) and Having Faith (Perseus Publishing, 2001). Her work has helped raise awareness of the environmental and toxic hazards that threaten our children and ourselves and inspire and grow a movement. Dr. Steingraber has a PhD in Biology from the University of Michigan, and is currently the Distinguished Visiting Scholar at Ithaca College. She served on President Clinton's National Action Plan on Breast Cancer and in 2001 received the Rachel Carson Leadership Award from Chatham College.

Directions

Just off Exit 4 of I-89

  • From the South, take exit 4 and turn right onto Rt. 66, heading uphill away from McDonalds. From the North, take exit 4 and turn left onto Rte. 66

  • Proceed 3/4 mile to intersection at top of hill (cars traveling up the hill have right of way at the intersection).

  • Drive straight through the intersection, and you will be on campus at the Main Entrance.

Follow the signs to park in D lot (straight ahead). Follow signs to Registration at Judd Hall.
