TOWN ELECTION: Will Plymouth vote to delay license for nuclear plant?
Since the Fukushima nuclear disaster in Japan, many citizens have been in opposition of the renewal of Plymouth Nuclear Power Station situated in Plymouth, Massachusetts. Voters are being urged to support of a bill to freeze the Nuclear Regular Commission’s license renewal process in order to support better safety regulations from the Fukushima disaster. Voters are warned of a possible second reactor being built at the Plymouth Nuclear Power Station location. Many voters will be faced with a decision in a matter of two weeks when voting will occur.
